    Tasting Notes:

    This vineyard is nestled on the edge of the Ashdown forest. All wines are hand crafted. This wine is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier . The wine is a very fruit forward style with delicate aromas of rose petals , wild strawberry and ripe raspberry on the nose . This is underpinned by redcurrant , nectarine and a creamy finish . Well balanced with good structure and a longpersistent finish. This wine spent 28 months on its lees. An excellent summer aperitif.

    Tasting Notes:

    Made with 50 year old vines, this wine has a blend of 80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir. Originating at a 130 year old family estate in the heart of the Côtes des Blancs, 40 km south of Reims, it is full of red berries and brioche notes on the nose. Luscious and mineral with a beautiful length on the palate.

  • Fox & Fox Essence Pure Chardonnay

    This boutique sparkling wine is produced in Sussex where in 2004 Jonica and Gerard Fox started to grow vines and in since 2009 the started to craft limited quantities of top quality sparkling wine with a unique English twist. They grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris from a mixture of Burgundy and Champagne clones on their Sussex high Weald terroir allowing them to produce wines with enticing fruit flavours, aromas and complexity. The Essence is made from 100% Chardonnay. The wine is made by the traditional method, steel tank then secondary bottle fermentation. No malolactic or fining, lees aged for 5 years with only 1,209 bottles produced. It is a stunning wine full of ripe fruit on the nose, singing of citrus and ripe apple flavours. Small bubbles fill the mouth and deliver a refreshingly long finish. Drink on its own or as an apéritif.

  • Fox & Fox Meunier

    Tasting Notes:

    Another stunning small batch sparkling wine from Jonica and Gerard Fox made from 95% Pinot Meunier and 5% Chardonnay from some exceptional fruit grown at their Estate in Mayfield, Sussex. Only 1,647 bottles of this wine were produced, and the reason this wine was made was because the ripeness and quality of the Pinot Meunier was so high. This is a very elegant Blanc de Noir with citrus lime top notes, followed by orchard fruit flavours; very pure on the palate with a refreshing acid backbone and good minerality. The wine has nice brioche notes having been rested on its lees for 34 months.

    Tasting Notes:

    This beautiful 100% Chardonnay from the Iconic family owned South Downs vineyard near Alfriston and the famous Seven Sisters white chalk cliffs is one of 5,700 bottles made in 2016. All the grapes are hand picked, whole bunch pressed, and a mixture of Burgundy clones of Chardonnay. Aged for 36 months on its Lees. It is pale honeysuckle in colour, with a lovely lemon curd nose and with beautiful bready overtones. Delicate bubbles with fresh grapefruit and peach on the palate. Very classy and celebratory.
